Nykesha Sales Visits Tolland Readers

Women's basketball great Nykesha Sales enthralled young readers Friday afternoon with a reading of Dino Basketball by Lisa Wheeler.  Nykesha, a former outstanding player for Univerity of Connecticut and for the Sun, brought the tale to life, as 36 pairs of ears drank in each word.   Now doing community liason for the Sun, Nykesha encouraged everyone to sign up for summer reading, so they can enjoy more great tales - and get to see a free game of the Sun (a summer reading prize this year at the library).   All students going into grades K to 9 are invited to sign up -- it's as easy as  going to: http://ct.evanced.info.tolland/sr/homepage.asp, clicking on the tab for your grade level, and then on "Sign Up."    Every child reading this summer is a winner at Tolland Public Library!
