How Do Animals Survive in Winter?

As part of the first annual "Take Your Child to the Library Day,"
on Saturday, February 4th, 2012,

wildlife biologist Jane Seymour helped Tolland youngstsers answer puzzling questions about Connecticut wildlife in winter such as:

Who left those tracks in the snow: Why do some birds migrate?
We all discovered some of the fascinating ways that animals survive Connecticut winters, then participants made animal track books to

take home. Jane will be back later this year! We look forward to

her next visit to the library some time this summer.
