First Grade Visits to Library

Tolland first graders from Birch Grove School will be making a field
trip to Tolland Public Library the week of June 11th.   Following a tour
of the library with Mrs. Brousseau, the Children's Librarian, the
students will receive their first library card and check out a book
before returning to school.

Renovations Update at the Library

We are looking forward to receiving our new
circulation desk in early June, to be installed
back in the center of the library, followed by new
carpeting.

Things change day to day; it's always an
adventure. Thanks for your patience as we improve!

May Storytimes and Programs

Parents and caregivers are invited to stop by the
following May storytimes:

Preschool Storytimes for ages 2 to 5 will be held on:
Tuesdays, May 1st, 15th, and 29th at
10:15 - 11 AM.
Wednesdays, May 9th and 23rd, at 10:15 - 11 AM.

Afternoon Storytime for ages 2 to 5 will be held on:
Thursdays, May 3rd - May 31st from 1:30 PM -
2:15 PM.


Mother Goose Storytime for ages 6 to 23 months old with
parent or caregiver. Meets at 11:15 - 11:45 AM on:
Tuesdays, May 8th and 22nd;
Wednesdays, May 2nd, 16th, and 30th.

Family PJ Storytimes for ages 2 to 8 will meet on Thursday,
May 17th and 31st, from 6:30 - 7 PM. No sign up
required; children may come in PJs and bring a favorite
stuffed animal.

Tolland Storytimes are free and open to the public;
out-of-town residents are welcome to attend.

Due to continuing renvovations in the library,
this schedule is subject to change.

R.E.A.D. Dog Smokey at Library again in June

R.E.A.D. Dog Smokey will be at the library again on Thursday, June 7th
from 5:30 - 7 PM.

Children in grades 1 and up may reserve a 15-minute block of time.
